The usual gaps
Three things an inspector finds first
Most findings on temperature come down to the same three gaps. Each one is easy to close once you can see it.
- 01
An alarm nobody saw
A min/max thermometer tells you on Monday what went wrong on Saturday night. By then the stock is lost.
- 02
A gap in the record
A missed manual check is a gap you will be asked to explain, and a reading nobody signed off is barely a record.
- 03
A certificate out of date
A sensor past its calibration date puts every reading since in doubt, and the auditor will check the dates.
How we close them
Monitoring, mapping, calibration and support. One team.
You deal with the same people from the first mapping study to the next UKAS visit, and every record sits on one platform.
- 01Temperature monitoringWireless sensors on every unit, alarms to the people on duty and an audit trail of who acted.
- 02Temperature mappingA study planned, run and reported by us, then monitoring placed where it found the extremes.
- 03Calibration, traceable or UKASCalibration for every sensor we supply: traceable to national standards as standard, or UKAS accredited where you need it (temperature in our own UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 10723 or at your site; other parameters through accredited partners).
- 04Support that answersInstallation, training, engineer cover and alarm support, set out in a service agreement.
