For sites with JTF monitoring, from the first survey onwards

Installed, trained and supported by the team that designed it

A monitoring system is only as good as the day it was fitted and the help you get after. One UK team designs, installs and supports JTF monitoring at 350+ sites, and Over 9 in 10 contract customers buy from us again the next year.

  • Designed for your site, not from a catalogue
  • Training for the people who respond to alarms
  • Support and engineer cover set out in your agreement

The short answer

What does JTF installation and support include?

We survey your site, design where the sensors and gateways go, install and commission them, and train your team. After that we support the system: help when an alarm or sensor needs attention, engineer visits when a fix needs one, and reminders before calibration is due. Your service agreement sets out the response times.

What's included

From the survey to the years after

The same team from the first visit, so nothing falls between suppliers.

  • System design

We look at what you store, who inspects you and the building, then plan sensors, gateways, alarm limits and alarm routes with you.

  • Installation and commissioning

Our engineers fit and test each sensor, check readings reach Sematics and test the alarms to the people you name.

  • Training

Short sessions for the people who respond to alarms, review data and pull records for an inspection.

  • Alarm and system support

When an alarm, a sensor or a reading needs a second look, our support team works through it with you remotely first.

  • Engineer cover

When a fix needs someone on site, an engineer comes to you, as set out in your service agreement.

  • Calibration reminders

Due dates are tracked against each sensor, and we contact you before a certificate lapses.

Service levels

Standard and Enhanced support, side by side

Two support levels. Enhanced adds out-of-hours cover scoped on request, faster critical response and advance replacements. Alarms reach your people day and night; our help desk is open Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. Every figure below is in your service agreement.

  1. Response means a JTF engineer has reviewed your ticket and replied with findings or next steps, not an automatic acknowledgement. Response times are commitments.
  2. Resolution means monitoring restored or a replacement despatched. Resolution times are targets.
  3. The on-site clock starts when we record on the ticket that the fix needs an engineer on site.
  4. Excluding planned maintenance notified in advance.
  5. P1 means a regulated asset has no monitoring, after the pre-checks (power, network, the sensor itself) are done. Clocks start when a ticket arrives with the pre-checks completed, and pause while we're waiting on you. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales. The full terms are in your service agreement.

How it works

Four steps to a system that keeps working

  1. 01

    Survey and design

A visit or a call to agree what's monitored, where and who responds.

  2. 02

    Install and commission

Sensors fitted, gateways placed, alarms tested end to end.

  3. 03

    Train your team

So the people on duty know what to do when an alarm comes in, and where the records are.

  4. 04

    Support it

Remote help, engineer visits when needed, calibration on time and a review when your site changes.

Questions

What people ask us

How quickly do you respond?

Your service agreement sets out the response times for your sites. We go through them with you before you sign.

Do you come out to every fault?

No. Most faults are fixed remotely or with a simple swap your team can do with our help. An engineer comes when the fix physically needs one.

Who installs the system?

Our own engineers, from the same team that supports it afterwards.

Can you train new staff later?

Yes. We can run training again when your team changes.

How do we know when calibration is due?

Due dates are tracked against each sensor and we contact you before they lapse.

Next step

Know what you need?

Tell us your sites, units and the services you want, and we'll send a written quote. If you'd rather talk it through first, call us.
