Sematics by JTF

Every reading, alarm and record, ready for the inspector

Sematics is the monitoring platform JTF builds and runs. It watches 10,000+ sensors at 350+ UK sites, gets an alarm to a person who can act, and keeps the evidence your assessor will ask for.

Live from the platform

The Sematics platform has stored over 20 billion messages

Every reading, alarm, acknowledgement and note is kept. The counter ticks at the platform's rate of about 11 million messages a day.

The overview

One screen for every unit on site

Open incidents, performance and completeness at the top. Every fridge, freezer and room with its live reading underneath, and the map or floor plan to find it.

Sematics overview: a site with zones, assets and devices, no open incidents, 100% performance and completeness, a map with one fridge selected, and a table of fridges, freezers and probes with live readings, all Good.

What it does

Built around what an assessor asks to see

Not a dashboard you have to watch. Sematics raises the alarm, keeps notifying until someone owns it, records the corrective and preventative action, and turns the week into a report.

EU GMP Annex 11

Mapped clause by clause

For regulated sites, each area of Annex 11 is covered in the Sematics validation programme, with who is responsible for what. Pick a clause to see how it's met.

3D plan view

See the building, not a list

Sematics shows your floor plan in 3D, with every sensor where it really is. Scrub back through the night to see when a room warmed and what was going on around it.

Sematics 3D plan view: a chilled store drawn in 3D with its sensors, battery levels and a timeline to replay the night.

The evidence

What you hand the inspector

Three real outputs, names masked: a weekly compliance check, a performance report for one unit, and a UKAS calibration certificate opened from the sensor.

Sematics weekly compliance check for a blood bank: status complete, four incidents all completed, performance 99.9% and completeness 100% against target, and the incident list with requirements met.
Weekly compliance check. Names masked.
Sematics asset performance report for a platelet incubator: optimal range 20.5 to 23.5 °C and 100% of the day in the optimal range.
Daily performance report. Names replaced.
A calibration certificate from JTF's UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 10723, opened from the sensor in Sematics, with as-found results at 0, 15 and 30 °C.
Temperature calibration certificate on the sensor, from UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 10723.
